| Basmati Rice |
| 1 ½ cup rice |
| 2 tablespoons ghee (or butter) |
| ½ teaspoon salt |
| ½ teaspoon black pepper |
| 2 ¾ cups water |
| In saucepan heat ghee and then add rice. Stir rice on medium heat for 1 minute. Add water and spices and
bring to a boil. Cover and put on low heat to simmer for 18 minutes. Serve hot. |
